How can technology be used as a way to bring people, especially families together? Learn more about the work that Iowa State University Extension and Outreach 4-H staff have done to connect families through technology. Projects discussed will include information presented at the Iowa FIRST LEGO League Championship Tournament and the Monona County Neighborhood Network: Connecting Families through Technology online course. The Monona County Neighborhood Network grant-funded project utilized technology as a way to bring families together at the same time it covered tough topics such as social media, cyber etiquette, and the legal issues associated with technology use.
