Sherry has been teaching reading and writing for Sioux City Community Schools and Western Iowa Tech Community College since 2011. She studied at Buena Vista University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. While continuing to teach, she earned a Professional Educator master’s degree from Morningside College. Sherry is currently finishing a dissertation in Educational Technology at Boise State University. As a life-long learner, Ms. Bielenberg has pursued her passion for technology to enhance teaching and to encourage learning in her classroom. Sherry holds teaching endorsements in English, reading, performing arts, and psychology, graduate certificates in Technology Integration Specialist and School Technology Coordination, and is a certified Nearpod Educator.
